Advisory Board
To facilitate the ongoing development of the Program, an Advisory Board has been established to guide the ongoing development and direction of the Program. Staffed by highly respected and pre eminent professionals, the Advisory Board is a core component of the DPDP, injecting passion, integrity, expertise and a love of cycling into the Program. The Advisory Board comprises the following individuals:

MICHAEL DRAPAC – Executive Director, Drapac
Michael has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and is diverse in his interests. He has strong ties with the medical industry, with both educational and business interests. Coming from a nutritional background, Michael provides advice and support to the team on nutrition, medical testing and athlete well being.
Michael also established Drapac Property more than 15 years ago and has a vast amount of business experience and knowledge. He has been involved in property for more than 25 years and is held in high esteem by his peers for his attention to detail, research, risk minimisation and visionary thinking. Michael is both the financial and driving force behind the Program and is crucial in his capacity as a decision maker for the program. Michael is a very strong supporter of cycling, being a former Board Member of CycleSport Victoria and a crucial party in negotiating the delivery of Vodafone Arena and DISC, two of the world-best cycling venues located in Melbourne.

MICHAEL WINKLER - Managing Director Porsche Cars Australia (PCA)
Michael is Managing Director of Porsche Cars Australia.

GRAEME LAVELLE
Graeme is a partner in the accounting firm HLB Mann Judd focusing on audit and forensic assurance and accounting. He is a former member of the Board of Directors at the Western Bulldogs AFL football team. Graeme has a long history in promoting a balanced sporting life for athletes and actively promotes and organises events to further this cause. His experience, wisdom and initiative are assets to the Board. |

MATTHEW KEENAN
Matthew works with the Victorian Workcover Authority as a Communications Advisor in Public Affairs however he is better known within the cycling community as a cycling commentator.
Matthew has an extensive background in cycling media, commentating on television (Channel 10, SBS and ABC) at major cycling events and hosting Australia's only radio cycling program (First Off the Bike) on SEN 1116 in Melbourne. Matthew regularly commentates live at major cycling events including the Jayco Herald Sun Tour, Around the Bay in a Day, Jayco Bay Cycling Classic and numerous other international events.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Deakin University. He has added to this education portfolio with a course in Issues and Crisis Management (RMIT) and also completed a Public Speaking Course at Dale Carnegie Training.
Prior to turning his hand to commentating, Matthew was a competitive cyclist on both road and track. In 1996 he finished fourth in the Australian Road Championships and first in the U23 category. In 1996 he rode the Herald Sun Tour with the Australian Institute of Sport and lived and raced in Europe between 1995 and 1997.

MIKE MCKAY OAM
Mike McKay is one of the founding crew members of the Oarsome Foursome.
He has competed in five Olympic Games (88, 92, 96, 00, 04) winning 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal. Mike's passion and leadership on the water was rewarded with selection as 's flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Mike has very successfully coupled his efforts on the water with roles in administration, education and business. He has an MBA and a Degree in Applied Science and is happliy married with 4 children.
He was an AOC Board Member (1997-2000) and chaired the AOC Athlete's Commission in that period. His corporate and business experience includes corporate finance at Ernst and Young plus a variety of business interests including a major gymnasium and a leading international online health and wellbeing company.
Mike's career pathway, experience and teamwork are a great philosophical fit with the Drapac - Porsche team model.

PAUL ELLIS – Press Relations Manager, Porsche
Paul brings to the board a vast experience in communication and media relations. As the Press Relations Manager for Porsche Australia, Paul supplies the team with marketing and PR expertise that has him mold one of the Worlds greatest brands! Additionally, Paul heads up the communications and strategy portfolio on the board and is a keen cyclist. |

PETER TANNER
Peter founded Tanner Menzies in 1988 and is the Managing Director of the company. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He has over 20 years Executive Recruitment experience covering Executive Search and Selection for Senior Management positions in both Australia and Overseas. His expertise includes Finance, Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Technical and Operations.
Previously he was General Manager of an Australian Biotechnology company and has many years experience in the Human Resources, Manufacturing, Distribution, Services and Not for Profit sectors.

PETER TREMBATH - MD, BPharm, FRACP, FCCP
Peter Trembath is a Consultant Physician specialising in Respiratory Disease, and has his main practice with a respiratory laboratory at Epworth Hospital. He has an interest in exercise physiology and performance assessment.
At the Royal Melbourne he currently holds appointments as Respiratory Physician, Head of a General Medical Unit, and Chair of the Board of Post-Graduate Medical Education. He has been involved in setting up a student's mentoring program at his old secondary school.
Peter has been a keen recreational cyclist, with involvement in a number of cycling groups in Melbourne including the Homicide Squad Cycle Team. He has participated in a numbers of European tours to follow the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia. Until the mud became too much for him, he enjoyed the challenges of Mountain Bike Racing.
